In addition, Sariputra, I have realized that the Bodhi is thenon-active nothingness nature. Why is the nature called non-activenothingness? Sariputra, the nature of the Bodhi is not thediscriminating function of the eye-consciousness,and even is not thediscriminating function of the mind-consciousness. Non-activenessmeans that the Bodhi is without arising and ceasing, and is withoutdwelling in anything either. The Bodhi is always away from the threeappearances; therefore, it is called non-activeness.
